Infant and Children's Recalled Products

Make sure you check out this list. Scares me - I've given Katie generic brand Tylenol so I don't know what to do. I need to check the numbers. I hate this!

  1. There will be so many of these now that you have a baby/child. My rule of thumb, is if i think we have it and it was cheap, just throw it out, if it was spendy, then check the numbers to make sure and follow directions of a fix or exchange. Have you signed up for the recall notices?

  2. No - there's a way to sign up? Yup, I would probably just throw them away, but I need to have good ones on hand in case she starts teething soon.

  3. I talked to the pharmacist at Target and she said she hadnt heard of any generics being involved. I am keeping mine and calling the manufacturer and requesting coupons for a replacement. It is messed up, and considering I spent money on their product the least they can do is replace it.

With this recall it isnt because the product is unsafe, just not effective enough.

  5. Thanks for talking to the Pharmacist. I saw that the recall was because of the dose - I just didn't know in which direction. Let me know what the mfg says about coupons.
